Recently I had an unpleasant experience purchasing a .xyz domain through Namecheap. The moment I completed the purchase, the domain was flagged as “reported abuse” and immediately suspended, even though I had not used it in any way.
I submitted a “Request Review”, but received no response for days. When I contacted support, they told me the issue was handled by the registry and not something Namecheap could assist with. My request for a refund was also denied.
